The shared bathroom situation was challenging with just one toilet and shower available, requiring us to time our showers carefully. The staff changes made it a bit inconvenient while settling into the right room for our needs.

Our stay there was really nice. We loved sitting at the courtyard during breakfast. Family room was convenient and quiet with nice balcony. The staff were lovely and superfriendly too.

The location was not so great.

Navigating to the town center is quite a chore without a car!!! The showers lack hot water consistency, a basic expectation!!! Loud noises from external factors can disrupt your sleep at night!!!

I recommend the place. The hotel was located right by the national parks, the garden and Costa Rica. I loved pancakes and eggs at breakfast. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the beds were very comfy.

The location was quite convenient, being near the town center and the fine national parks. I really appreciated the spacious family room with a beautiful terrace that offered a cozy retreat after a long day of meetings and activities.

Good communication with staff made planning excursions easy, and the complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day was a nice touch. The shared kitchen was well equipped, and breakfast options were good, especially the pancakes with maple syrup. Navigating to the town center can be quite a challenge without a car, and the shared bathrooms might lead to wait times during peak hours.

Montefresco boutique was fantastic! The room was lovely, and the host were great by personally driving us to the cloud forest when our shuttle didn't arrive. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and having coffee and tea available was a nice touch.
